General Summary
The Associate Digital Content Specialist has specific knowledge of digital content technical tools or other similar
experience with ecommerce content management. The role requires someone who is extremely organized and
comfortable managing multiple cross-functional projects at once, and can provide strong direction, remove
roadblocks, and collaborate with peers.
As a vital contributor to executing Reser's digital strategy, the Associate Digital Content Specialist primary
responsibilities will include managing the integration of our product content platform, monitoring and reporting on
the onboarding process, and assisting with customer coordination and digital priorities. Additional responsibilities
may include support goals related to website and social channels for three consumer facing brands.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead internal content provider integration team (coordinating Marketing, MIS, Sales, Regulatory, and other
stakeholders) in new product and product update set up process
2. Serve as a liaison and digital subject matter expert to stakeholders, other departments and external parties on
product and category content
3. Identify gaps in product content when mapped to retailer requirements and formulate plans to fill those
content gaps
4. Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure product content is optimized for performance and Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) where applicable; analyze metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve
performance across products and categories
5. Document processes and seek opportunities to streamline and improve workflows and processes with a focus
on operational excellence and continuous improvement to data quality
6. Maintain regular audits of retail partner ecommerce sites to ensure accuracy and quality of listings
7. Assist with paid and organic search across retailer and owned channels based on key learnings
8. Coordinate with content provider team to evaluate potential of new features and services
9. Support set up of new items for all owned consumer facing website properties
10. Provide assistance with social media and digital programs for 3 consumer facing brands.
11. Assist with coordination of work and communication with agency partners
12. Participate in department meetings and perform other tasks and related duties as assigned
Job Specifications & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Digital Marketing or related field
2. Proven working experience in product information, ecommerce, or master data management
3. 2+ years minimum hands-on experience with the following criteria:
a. Strong analytical abilities: able to dig into complex data sets to help inform decisions
b. Experience with eCommerce or digital product management
c. Proven results in defining product/process roadmap goals
4. Superior problem solving and analytical skills
5. Strong Microsoft Excel expertise required, comfortable manipulating large data sets
6. Google Analytics and Adwords performance insight
7. Superior attention to detail and time management, working within specified deadlines
8. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate with internal and external
stakeholders
9. Ability to conduct and coordinate coaching/training for internal and external stakeholders
10. Ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects, with excellent time management
skills
11. Previous experience in consumer-packaged goods and understanding of SEO best practices
12. Social media experience is preferred
13. Experience with WordPress is preferred
