Mortgage Loan Production Coordinator - LAM (Administrative)



Member service? Become a Mortgage Loan Production Coordinator at Lake Area Mortgage a division of Royal Credit Union! In this role, you'll assist Lake Area Mortgage Loan Officers in the origination and processing of residential mortgage and lot loans, manage loan pipelines, and deliver exceptional service to Members and partners. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to support our diverse member base.

What You'll Do:
Responsible for assisting assigned Lake Area Mortgage Loan Officers in the origination of residential mortgage loans as well as lot loans by completing all processes after the basic application is completed by the Lake Area Mortgage Loan Officer. May complete loan applications with Members as needed. Convey policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines. Meet Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Lake Area Mortgage Sales Manager.

    • $25.10-$28.10 per hour (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

What's Needed For This Position:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Three (3) years of related experience working in a financial institution or other related sales/customer service position
  • Must be bondable upon hire
  • Valid Driver's License and insured vehicle

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Mortgage Lending & Processing: Working knowledge of financial services, mortgage origination, and processing, including understanding loan programs, guidelines, and Downpayment Assistance Programs.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Strong sense of Member service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to build professional relationships with Members, Realtors, and building professionals.
  • Organization & Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to coordinate multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a high-volume workload.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to make decisions regarding complex daily work, resolve recurring problems, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Technical Proficiency & Adaptability: Proficient in using computers and various software packages; able to learn new technologies and adapt to changing processes and priorities.

We'd Love To See:

  • Three (3) years of experience working in Mortgage Origination or Processing
  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time, working approximately 40 hours per week. Hours and shifts vary between 8am-6pmMonday through Friday, with additional hours as needed.

Training:

  • Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
    • Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal's culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
