Warehouse Team Lead (Manufacturing)



Without knowing it, millions of people wear apparel and accessories distributed by alphabroder. Consumers may not recognize the company's name, but clothiers and promotional agencies certainly do. Whether the item is a company golf shirt, a T-shirt from a rock concert or a souvenir shirt from a vacation destination, chances are it has passed through one of our many Distribution Centers across North America.

Team lead starting pay is $21.00/hr 

Shift: Sunday through Thursday; Sunday 6am and Mon to Thu at 12pm    $21/hr + ($3.50 shift premium) 

Shift: Monday through Friday 12pm start time,  $21/hr

  • Overall purpose of this position:
    • Under the supervision of the manager, the Team Lead coordinates the training process and workflow of the employees in production to ensure that the daily workload is completed accurately in a timely and efficient manner.  Full-time hours are M-F with ability to work overtime when necessary.

Major activities, which must be performed in order to carry out the purpose of the position as described above:

Flexible to perform outbound duties, inbound duties, shortages.

  • Assists in the execution of operational procedures in the Distribution Center.
  • Coordinates the workflow and ensures completion of the designated procedures of the personnel within production.
  • Ensures all personnel on the assigned team are properly trained in all phases of their respective job responsibilities.
  • Ensures that all personnel meet all time standards and quality standards set by Broder Co.
  • Assist in the evaluation of staffing level requirements for daily scheduling purposes as well as in regard to future planning.
  • Assists the manager by providing input as to employee performance, attitude, and ability to follow directions, and adherence to safety standards, etc. for the purposes of employee evaluations.
  • Achieves maximum operational efficiency in the production area to ensure the timely and correct processing of customer orders.
  • Ensures that team works in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Recommends plans to motivate team to achieve work goals.
  • Maintains focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations through continuous     quality improvement and budgetary performance.
  • May be called upon to handle other duties and responsibilities as the need arises.

REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Demonstrated skills in communication, math, and reading, as well as basic computer skills.
  • Must possess ability to communicate interface, and mentor employees. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work cooperatively as part of a team. 
  • Must possess ability to execute verbal instructions, and work independently without direct supervision. 

                     Ability to teach, train and develop entry level employees.
