Senior Manager International Supply Chain (Finance)
Establish, implement, and manage a global supply chain for a fortune 200 company with some of the most iconic brands! Have a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field? Have experience with Supply Chain Management processes and systems? If so, we want to speak with you!
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, International Supply Chain to join our team in Richmond, VA. or we are open to remote work arrangements.
What you'll be doing:
• Establish, implement, and manage a global supply chain that ensures flexible and scalable operations that support the growth of the Altria's International business.
• Lead & empower a hard-working team through a culture of engagement, collaboration and inclusion. Mentor, train, develop and assess skills of the assigned team. Continually elevate performance of the team and individuals.
• Develop supply chain infrastructure to prioritize market opportunities.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies that incorporates both Altria and customer priorities. Establish goals, measure progress and dynamically adjust as needed.
• Drive and implement strategy execution. Builds and owns clear and efficient processes.
• Establish and drive structure that brings together multiple partners across functions and geographies to drive decisions.
• Communicate the strategy, supply chain processes and infrastructure are understood in the organization.
• Pursue and cultivate relationships with trade associations & key suppliers to develop an understanding of the best global industry practices and latest innovation to improve the efficiency of the international supply chain.
• Provide cross-functional leadership in collaborating with internal and external parties to deliver against stated brand, and manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure staff training and development occurs at all levels.
• Effective KPI establishment and measurement.
What we want you to have:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Information Technology, Industrial Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience, where you developed a firm grasp of Supply Chain Management processes and systems.
• Relevant work experience related to the global supply chain environment, including knowledge about import and export of consumer-packaged goods to and from the European Union.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver results for multiple initiatives with tight deadlines.
• Effective cross cultural communication skills that enable you to work with and influence a variety of internal and external partners both in the US and internationally.
• Frequent travel required to visit locations related to the international business. Frequent overnight travel may be required if business necessitates (approximately 30% of the time).
