Are you a driven professional with experience in supply chain strategy and execution? At Ascend Learning, the Safety & Security segment is a leading provider of online training in a range of high growth professions and academic areas, including public safety, workplace safety, insurance and securities licensure, and cybersecurity. We combine authoritative content with innovative educational technology to help educators teach more effectively and students learn more efficiently. Our comprehensive suite of print and digital education solutions is designed to enrich the educational experience and deliver results for secondary, post-secondary, and professional education markets. The company is seeking a transformational leader who can provide the strategic vision and plan for our book manufacturing supply chain operation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of forging successful, long-term strategic partnerships with both internal and external customers as well as suppliers and manufacturers. They will have in-depth knowledge of book manufacturing, forecasting, inventory, logistics and distribution and bring a track record of developing teams and growing future leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee sourcing and vendor management
Manage inventory and inventory planning across the business
Manage new product launches and reprints
Provide cross-functional operational leadership
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or similar discipline required.
