Are you a driven professional with experience in inventory management and forecasting? At Ascend Learning, the Safety & Security segment is a leading provider of online training in a range of high growth professions and academic areas, including public safety, workplace safety, insurance and securities licensure, and cybersecurity. We combine authoritative content with innovative educational technology to help educators teach more effectively and students learn more efficiently. Our comprehensive suite of print and digital education solutions is designed to enrich the educational experience and deliver results for secondary, post-secondary, and professional education markets. The company is seeking a talented analytical individual who can lead planning and inventory management for our book publishing supply chain operation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully working cross functionally with various departments such as product development, sales, procurement, customer service, and warehouse operations as part of a S&OP process. Candidate will be responsible for creating and managing book inventory planning and forecasting process to maintain optimal service levels and availability for our customers. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator with advanced excel skills, demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
