Supervisor, Service & Cleaning (Manufacturing)

This position supervises the function and activities of Service/Cleaning and Vault Pulling personnel. Coordinates the service and cleaning of bus operations revenue and non-revenue vehicles. This is a safety sensitive position subject to the rules of the RTD Drug and Alcohol Policy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, scheduling, assigning work, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure consistent application of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. Conducts performance review, and holds employees accountable for performance of their responsibilities.
  • Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs and monitors service and cleaning activities through Maximus programs and other tracking systems. Inspects buses for quality assurance and monitors adherence to all procedures.
  • Conducts scheduled inspections of work area to ensure fleet equipment, inventory and facilities are maintained in clean, safe and functional operating condition.
  • Schedules bus movement to support General Repair Operations.
  • Coordinates, with General Repair, the scheduling of buses for all scheduled service and cleaning preventative maintenance items.
  • Ensures compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations.

OTHER:

  • Provides relief coverage for General Repair Supervisor/Storeroom Supervisor as needed.
  • All other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a position dealing with the service/cleaning function and fleet equipment.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and effectively operate in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
  • Ability to learn to navigate in Oracle and Maximus within three months in order to perform assigned tasks.

Pay Range:

$65,177.00 - $92,062.25 Annual
