Provide analytical and sales support to our growing Food Away From Home Division. Develop reporting systems and create new reports in addition to maintaining existing reports which monitor key metrics and provide actionable insights to the team.  Analyze data to provide insights and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Support and improve the forecasting process/system to aid the overall organization to help deliver both customer and B&G's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Using syndicated data inputs along with shipment data to conduct analysis, report observations, and forecast for the Food Away From Home Division.   Provide insightful commentary (consumption, volumes, bridges, etc.)
  • Support team with volume / revenue forecasting and reporting (furnish executive summary monthly/quarterly)
  • Assist in customer and internal meeting preparation tools with a focus on Corporate Accounts - US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Sysco, PFG and DOT.
  • Manage all aspects of customer plans focused on our Corporate Accounts (US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Sysco, PFG and DOT) Trade spending management, recordkeeping, reconciliation, liaison with deductions team as needed)
  • AFS inputs – Coordinate best practices and tracking reports to monitor plan accuracy and reporting consistency, i.e. Forecast Tracking, Void Matrix,etc.
  • Recordkeeping and reconciliation supporting deduction team with timely reconciliation)
  • Trade Revenue and Spend Management (coordinating Sales Planning and Sales Managers via AFS reporting capabilities to monitor and consolidate team progress and results

Decision making / Recommendation Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities, risk & merchandising effectiveness.
  • Using syndicated data provided along with customer shipment data to forecast sales shipments / revenue (including trade spend)
  • AFS/Exceedra, Shared Table (US Foods), Circana expert

Experience, Skills, Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience within the Food Away From Home or related industry
  • Elevated proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong competency in syndicated data, i.e. US Foods Shared Table, Circana, AC Nielsen
  • Analytical skills necessary to draw conclusions and make recommendations, based on data
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as customer and internal demands shift; goal and deadline oriented
  • Persistence and attention to detail important

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$58,575 - $97,625

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
