Job Responsibilities:
· Operate all types of tools essential and necessary to the job, including but not limited to, hand drill, hammer, needle gun, caulk gun, chisel, utility knives, putty scraper, disk sander, rivet gun, impact wrench, huck gun, router, grinder, and tape measure. Maintain constant torque requirements. Other duties, as necessary.
· Prepare metal surfaces. Clean trailer components with solvents.
· Caulk all required trailer seams and joints.
· Position and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. Assemble sub-assemblies such as, but not limited to, brake hoses, light boxes, axles, air brake systems, nose boxes, wiring harnesses, tire-rim mounting, doors, walls, etc. Drill through aluminum, steel, and wood.
· Perform measurement layouts per blueprints.
· Operate overhead cranes.
· Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
· Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product.
· Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
· Ability to work mandatory overtime.
· Ability to follow all company policies and procedures.

· Other duties may be assigned as required by the company.
Physical Requirements:
· Standing 75 - 100 % of the time.
· Walking 70 - 100% of the time.
· Reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, lifting or torquing with hands and arms 50 - 75% of the time.
· Moving arm, wrist, hand, and/or finger 50 - 75% of the time.
· Climbing and balancing on ladders and scaffolding 30% - 60% of the time.
· Moving arm above shoulder level up to 25% of the time.
· Stooping, bending and twisting of the neck and trunk 30% - 60% of the time.
· Crouching and kneeling 30 - 60% of the time.
· Use of vibratory tools.
· Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds occasionally. Any weight over 50 pounds requires additional personnel or lifting equipment.
· Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/40 visual acuity (with or without correction) following Snellin Method Guidelines and Purdue Job Standards.
· Ability to verbally communicate.
· Hearing requirements include ability to hear bells, alarms and all verbal communication
Knowledge and Skill:
· Must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility of the job satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.
· Must have 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
· Must be able to work at a fast pace, experiment, and express opinions regarding work methods and blueprints. Be accountable for errors.
· Must maintain high standards of quality and work performance, including direct assistance to supervisor as needed.
· Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measures and company documents for area.
· Must have basic math skills, especially fractions.
· Must be able to operate computerized automated equipment.
