Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for data accuracy and process efficiency? We are seeking an exceptional HR Administrator to join our growing Human Resources team serving Springfield, MO, the surrounding areas, and North Central Arkansas businesses. This entry-level role is ideal for top talent looking to make a real impact through high-volume data entry and administrative support. Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the accurate manual data entry of HR information across multiple platforms and systems.
  • Support the hourly hiring process, including drafting job postings and preparing offer letters.
  • Coordinate drug screenings, background checks, and facilitate new hire orientations.
  • Maintain and update electronic HR databases and ensure proper documentation is completed and distributed.
  • Compile, analyze, and generate HR reports for management and special projects.
  • Assist with required training logistics, policy maintenance, and distribution of relevant materials.
  • Process employee terminations, including data entry, calculations, and paperwork routing.
  • Partner with the Safety team to fulfill DOT requirements for new hires.
  • Ensure the availability of HR forms and supplies, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Take on additional project work and support other HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Regular in-office attendance is required; up to 10% travel for day trips between company locations.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Experience: 2+ years in HR administration preferred, especially in a construction or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; strong ability to operate office equipment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze issues independently and perform under deadline pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Work Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Strict adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
  • Willingness to travel for work as required, primarily for day trips.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, talk, and hear throughout the day.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
  • Work primarily in a standard office setting with a fast-paced tempo and moderate noise levels.
