Lien Perfection Specialist - SHL (Manufacturing)



We are seeking a Lien Perfection Specialist for the Sustainable Home Lending Department.

The primary responsibility of the Lien Perfection Specialist is to support the SustainableHome's Loss Mitigation department accurately and efficiently. The role's focus is ensuring liens are properly perfected within 30 days of funding.

Highlights:

  • Research documentation, fee, and tax requirements for various states
  • Track outstanding UCC1's and contact the appropriate party if not received on a timely basis
  • Prepare any needed title work including requesting any needed additional funds for the lien's late fees for any situation regarding the perfection of our lien or the state specific tax that may be imposed
  • Use a Database to report, track, and follow for any needed items to secure our lien
  • Assist internal and external customers, over the phone, regarding title document processing, including completion of title paperwork, lots of title forms, and general titling information
  • Work cross-departmentally with Auditors for any needed lien requirements

Experience:

    Required

  • 2 to 3 years of experience within the consumer finance industry

    Education:

        Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent

      Skills & Knowledge:

          Required

      • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
      • Ability to take tasks from different sources and prioritize appropriately
      • Ability to work independently with little supervision
      • Computer skills to include standard office applications

       

      Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

      Level of Work: 1C
