Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoots equipment and determines appropriate repairs and defective parts replacement and performs all requirements to maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. This requires determining the root cause of malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and examining the form and texture of arts.
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to work with production to ensure timely repair of equipment
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Basic computer familiarity
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints
  • Experience with CNC and PLC systems is a plus
  • Some welding and pipefitting experience is a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in Maintenance in an industrial plant
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime
  • Safety, detail, and quality-oriented
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills
  • E MaintenanceUniversal maintenance (well-rounded)
  • Strong on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus
  • Knowledge of control circuit wiring 24VDC is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk and reach frequently
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Must be able to occasionally work outside
