A Role You Will Love Provide leadership and direction to the Loss Mitigation Analytics team/department. Ensures reporting requirements and analytical projects are delivered for operations, executive, client and group initiatives. Initiate and Monitor the development of new functionality in proprietary company systems including providing support for UAT and production implementation. Responsible for supervision, compliance, and performance of the Campaign Administrators. Reviewing risk management, maintaining interdepartmental communication, campaign timelines, and end to end completion of campaigns. Further, assist as a strategic operational business partner to all operational areas in determining operational strategies to assist in revenue growth and overall company pipeline management. Assist in directing all aspects of the department's policies, objectives, and initiatives. What Will You Bring to The Role? Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 years of experience in an exempt leadership capacity.
5 years of mortgage servicing experience.
3 years of experience in a Manager role with 2 direct exempt level direct reports.
• 10 years of experience in mortgage experience with 3 years' experience in default mortgage servicing.
Direction of staff as it relates to day-to-day operations. Handle daily employee questions. Ensure staff is meeting departmental productivity standards and expectations.
Complete tasks assigned and duties required as required per department policy: Assure campaigns are evaluated, implemented, and completed accurately and within timeline. Monitor and track IT issues, work with IT to test fixes, verify implementation fixed the issue and did not create other issues.
Review and analyse campaign success rate reporting. Identify potential processing gaps and work with management to provide solutions in order to meet timeline requirements.
Review all productivity and other reports as necessary. Assist in the creation and updating policy and procedure guidelines.
Manage team with respect to staffing (employment decisions), performance (coaching and reviews), and development.
Identify and implement methods to improve operational efficiency and expense reduction through workflow automation.
Initial and ongoing staff training to ensure optimal performance. Policy training of all essential aspects of an associate's job and to ensure adherence by all associates to policies and procedures.
Computer training on the daily functionality needed for an agent to perform. Continual side-by-side and training.
Work collaboratively with business partners, team members and vendors in defining, designing, planning and implementing technology solutions to improve business functions.
Lead the analysis effort to document organizational needs for the development and implementation of technology solutions.
Interface with business sponsors to ensure that the technology solutions are developed to meet business needs and specifications.
Apply experiences with existing software development processes to develop better processes for future use.
Formulate and define project scope, objectives, constraints, and assumptions using existing documented processes based upon business needs as well as a thorough knowledge of the application, business, operations, and industry.
Actively influence software development process improvement initiatives.
Participate in meetings with department project managers and business analysts frequently to stay informed of project status, risks, and individual goals.
Ensure company priorities are being delivered and resources are allocated accordingly.
Other key skills and experience required:
Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio with advanced skills required in Excel, Access, Visio, and SQL.
Planning, building and implementing marketing campaigns using complex SQL over CRM platform aiming to welcome new customers, increase customer life-cycle and prevent churn (rate-of-attrition).
Previous experience with mortgage servicing systems preferred Previous Mortgage Servicing experience required specifically, Default Management.
Extensive experience with planning, managing, and tracking multiple complex and major impact projects.
Extensive knowledge of the mortgage loan servicing policies and procedures
Ability to maintain professional independence while working closely with business units
Knowledge of industry standard business practices, procedures, and compliance requirements relating to the areas of loss mitigation
Leadership experience in an office environment
Prior Supervisory/Manager experience of 2-25 associates
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - creative initiative-taker in seeking optimum problem resolution
Validate adherence to standard approaches to requirements, including standard components and reports and manage exception process requests from clients and internal stakeholders.
Skilled at preparing and presenting structured materials to investors and/or a professional group in an organized fashion
Experience with managing client expectations, implementing service improvement initiatives, and communicating effectively with senior management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
