Talent Acquisition Specialist (Human Resources)



The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports organizational goals by proactively identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent. This role requires full-cycle recruitment expertise, relationship-building capabilities and a strong focus on creating a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about connecting exceptional talent to meaningful career opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment needs including sourcing, selecting, interviewing and offering candidates for athletics-focused roles
  • Implement efficient and effective talent acquisition methods and strategies to attract and maintain candidates for current openings and pipeline development in assigned function
  • Maintain accurate hiring reports and knowledge of talent market and industry trends
  • Conduct comprehensive job profiling sessions with hiring managers to identify target skill sets and prepare participants for the interview and selection process
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting efforts, hiring efficiencies & recruitment training
  • Maintain positive candidate experience through clear expectations, frequent communication and timely feedback
  • Assist with development & activation of recruitment strategies
  • Attend career fairs & networking events
  • Provide expertise to protect the organization against unfair or illegal/discriminatory hiring practices
  • Facilitate the scheduling of interviews, including travel and detailed itineraries
  • Monitor key talent acquisition metrics and adjust to meet performance expectations
  • Foster diversity by promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years talent acquisition experience
  • Knowledge or interest in human resources and talent acquisition, including knowledge of state and federal hiring processes and laws
  • Proficient with technology including MS Suite, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems. Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills in person and via phone and email
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues and be team-oriented

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Bilingual
