Senior Corporate Trainer (Personal Services)
Responsible for the effective delivery of training programs across the credit union. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems. Assists in designing, managing, implementing and evaluating training programs to staff for meaningful contributions in the workplace.
Works with training programs such as frontline management training, onboarding processing, member satisfaction initiatives, sales and product knowledge, compliance, team development activities, and any new training initiatives.
Role will also work with the Learning and Performance Consultant I & II to ensure successful execution of training programs in coordination with the talent management strategy.

Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Five plus years ' proven ability to develop and deliver multi-modal learning solutions with measured outcomes in a corporate environment, preferably in financial services industry. Proven ability to design and deliver leadership development programs. Knowledge of full Training Lifecycle, including needs assessment, course design, development, implementation, and assessment. Demonstrated ability to organize course material in both one-on-one and group sessions. Strong instructional design, program management and facilitation skills, and the ability to support and mentor others in these domains. Ability to develop and execute interactive, creative, and comprehensive training programs in a variety of areas.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Training, Organizational Development, or related discipline required. Certification delivering personality-based tools desired (e.g., StrengthsFinder, HBDI, DISC, etc.).
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.

Demonstrated ability to organize course material and technical content into intuitive learning format for a variety of delivery channels. Understanding of learning solutions, content development tools and methodologies, including Captivate, Articulate, Snag It, Adobe Flash, Video Editing, Podcasts, Mobile Learning. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook). Prior experience with Learning Management System (LMS); UltiPro a plus. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to develop learning content which includes participation and facilitator guides and presentation materials. Highly organized, with the ability to lead program-level initiatives and work both independently and within a team. Strong planning and project leadership, collaboration, and analytical ability.

Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
