Summer Intern 2022– Congressional Liaison Office-BDM (Finance)

Suggested Major/Minor: Political Science or Government, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, or a related field of study.
Required Skills and Knowledge: GPA 3.0 or above and must be enrolled in an accredited undergrad or graduate level program. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Commitment to a high quality of work, sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Windows, and Internet research. An interest in and general understanding of the Federal Reserve System, financial markets, global and domestic current events, and economics, as well as an interest in the fields of political science and government relations. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours, per week.
Preferred Skills : Demonstrated practice with summary-style writing; research and tracking of legislative initiatives.
