Group Team Leader (Finance)
A Group Team Leader is responsible for facilitating the work activities of sequence operators and/or material handlers; training new and existing employees; as needed assisting Operations Leader and performing Operator B, Equipment Operator and/or Material Handler responsibilities.

Understands and demonstrates safe work practices and maintains a safe work environment
Demonstrates high levels of good housekeeping practices to promote a safe and clean work environment
Maintain a high level of quality through periodic product inspections
Inspect incoming materials to verify part number and specification conformance
Interpret specifications and job orders to employees and assign duties
Recommend adjustment of work procedures to meet productivity standards
Coordinates work activity per production schedule
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Audit employee production documentation for accuracy and integrity
Properly use RF scanning equipment and read a scanner download
Performs manual audits of sequencing accuracy as needed
Assume supervisory responsibilities during Operation Leaders absence
Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures
Perform Operator B, Equipment Operator or Material Handler job duties as assigned
Train employees on work processes and best practices in order to achieve company safety, quality and productivity objectives
Ensures their ability to safely operate mobile equipment, crane and hoist equipment and/or material handling equipment and comply with PIT safety standards
Recommend rewarding or counseling employees
Provide feedback and resolve minor employee issues
Lead and motivate others to obtain results
Conduct employee observations and provide regular positive and constructive feedback

This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to operate mobile equipment, crane and hoist equipment and/or material handling equipment
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
