EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D.

EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience required; basic computer skills required.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license; State issued id

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires: the ability to twist, stoop, bend, use extensive and repetitive hand movements; lifting up to 35 lbs.; ability to stand for extended periods and input data; ability to work in a fast paced environment; may require sitting for entire shifts, up to 35 hours per week

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, noise, bright & flashing lights.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the duties and functions of Grand Lake Casino's Player's Club

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires: the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays; excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all casino patrons
  • Develops and maintains a friendly, courteous rapport with customers and staff
  • Listens to customer needs and ensures customer satisfaction while complying with casino guidelines
  • Identifies, establishes and inspires enrollments to prospective Player's Club members
  • Communicates properly with guests with reference to preparation of player's club cards
  • Prepares new cards, replacement cards, and update information in the player tracking system for guests
  • Completes all required paperwork and forms in a precise, efficient and timely manner
  • Promotes & executes special events, promotions and services to guests
  • Encourages patrons participation in marketing efforts
  • Explains all games and promotions

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable transportation
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking skills
  • Adaptability
