VP, Global Innovation Strategy Leader (Finance)



The VP, Global Innovation Strategy Leader will provide thought leadership and drive the creation of AI product and innovation strategy and influence overall portfolio management, while maximizing opportunities through comprehensive solutions and marketing plans. Leading innovation within the Equifax Customer Analytic Life Cycle, the VP, Global Innovation Strategy Leader will work extensively with Product Leaders and cross-functional teams on initiatives such as credit, fraud, and risk analytics portfolios.

What you will do

  • Collaborate and consult with Business Unit Product teams to co-innovate next-generation products, with a thorough understanding of the customer analytic lifecycle across marketing, credit, fraud, and collections.
  • Provide Portfolio Thought Leadership - Demonstrate understanding of portfolios and each leader's execution of product definition and opportunity prioritization;
  • Strong executive level communications across both internal and external stakeholders; will represent our Senior Vice President and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and will be able to communicate topics related to the customer life cycle across multiple audiences.
  • Product Strategy & Planning : Create the vision and support the development of strategies for new innovative product portfolios strategy ideas; articulate the strategy across the organization and ensure alignment with key stakeholders on execution and hand off practices; Drive Build, Buy, Partner approach and decisions for the products, product lines, & product portfolios within purview. This individual will not own a product portfolio.
  • Industry & Competitive Knowledge: Anticipate business and regulatory issues that affect product discipline and function, and identify/implement measures to optimize outcomes for Equifax; Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and industry peers, building a strong understanding of current issues and the strategies used to guide the product function. Designing portfolio policies and translating the new functional product needs to analytic/modeling needs.
  • Customer Analytic Life Cycle Innovation: Provide thought leadership in the development of analytic products and product lines, such as credit and fraud analytics.
  • Knowledge of Customer: Establish and maintain communications with critical customers in order to understand their needs and receive their feedback.
  • Drive and influence the performance of the Global D&A Innovation Strategy team.
  • Engage in extensive business partnership and consulting within a matrixed environment.
  • Utilize data driven decision making to drive effective execution.

What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience/portfolio analytics. Demonstrates strong influential thought leadership style. This will include some experience leading teams in a highly matrixed environment, working cross-functionally to drive innovation, prioritization and go-to-market strategies to deliver financial growth across product portfolios containing multiple products.
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience across Product/Strategy driven roles: New Product Innovation, Strategy and Planning with emphasis in thought leadership across AI/ML Product Innovation.
  • Substantial proven experience with new product innovation for next-generation credit products, with a thorough understanding of the customer analytic lifecycle across marketing, credit, fraud, and collections products.
  • Credit, fraud & collections risk analytics strategy expertise: you will have a deep understanding of what it takes to design an acquisition and portfolio policy and be able to translate the new functional product needs to analytic/modeling needs.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis of competitors.
  • Experience delivering executive level presentations and visual communication to convey the product vision.

What could set you apart
  • Bachelors or Graduate degree in a STEM related field of study.
  • Product Management certifications.
  • Prior ownership of deployment of analytic tools.
  • Mentors teams to write detailed product requirements and demonstrates a solid understanding of product design, commercial model and packaging discussions.
  • Experienced in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA, Figma).
  • Manages executional rigor of team to deliver BU product efforts on time to meet market demands.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 required onsite days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.

This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
