TeleSales Retention Representative - Must be licensed in CA (Finance)

The Telesales/Retention Representative is responsible for generating leads to meet and exceed individual sales production of new enrollments and help retaining existing members within company health plan(s).

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meets and exceeds monthly goal and retention of existing members.
2. Handles inside/in-bound telephone inquiries from prospective members, providers, and other community partners seeking information regarding all lines of business
3. Directs prospects to the field sales team when needed
4. Conducts outbound calls relevant to enrollment/disenrollment campaigns, requests for information from community events, provider offices, after-hour messages, and website inquiries
5. Submits daily activity production reports and/or monthly reports as required.
6. Ensures that information and assistance provided is within the standards established by all applicable federal /state laws and regulations and Alignment Health Plan's Compliance Department
7. Understands of new updates related to company and/or CMS and marketing guidelines required.
8. Participates with competitor analysis (SWOTs) Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats within respective market(s) and/or territories as required by management.
9. Supports other projects within the Sales and Marketing Department as directed by the Management Team.
10. Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

• Required: Minimum 1 year customer service experience.

• Preferred: Medicare Health Plan knowledge and/or health insurance background preferred.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree

• Required:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the CMS Marketing Guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with others; provide leadership, teach and collaborate with others.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to establish and maintain a constructive relationship with diverse members, management, employees and vendors;
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical calculations and calculate simple statistics correctly
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; ability to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Effective problem solving, organizational and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred: Bilingual

Licensure:

• Required: Must have active Health and Life license and maintain life/health insurance license within respective selling states.

Pay Range: $44,790.00 - $67,185.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
