Corporate Recruiter (Human Resources)



In this position, you will partner with hiring managers across the business.  The position is responsible for the recruitment of candidates for all corporate positions in North America (Canada and the continental US).  This position is in-house, working with our Executive Team and hiring managers to find, interview and recommend potential candidates for hire in our organization.  It is imperative the incumbent has the ability to build a trusting relationship with our hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting process from start to finish.  Ensure you are aware of where candidates are in the interview process for each open position.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure all job descriptions are up to date before posting.
  • Review all incoming resumes, have the ability to screen potentially qualified candidates and make the proper referral to the hiring manager.
  • Be an evangelist for the Company whether at job fairs, community events, or college fairs.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements using social media and job sites.  Have the ability to think outside the box with hard-to-fill positions.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Assist remote hiring managers with interview needs and questions.
  • Build a matrix around recruiting to ensure we have the best recruiting practices in place.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Have the ability to grow a pipeline of candidates for different opportunities.
  • Manage the Visa process as required with our legal partners

Requirements

  • 5 years previous Corporate Recruiting experience working with remote managers
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • A positive team spirit attitude and the ability to think outside of the box is required, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Think critically and have the ability to adapt to change when necessary.
  • Operate autonomously and proactively seek out solutions to problems.
  • Prior experience with Oracle Recruiting preferred.
