ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work planning skills: plan and assign work orders to assigned technicians; insure safe work practices are being used, review completed work. Electrical maintenance program: oversee electrical maintenance program design, implementation, preventative maintenance and repairs, including oversight of plant wide intercom system. Process controls program: oversee process controls program, to include design, implementation and repairs for PLC systems, weighing systems and bulk levels. HVAC program: oversee HVAC maintenance program, coordinate repair and preventative maintenance with outside vendor. Inventory skills: oversee inventory of general electrical & controls supplies, identify and select vendors, prepare purchase orders, review deliveries and approve invoices as necessary. Maintenance software skills: provide administrator support for computerized maintenance management software. Provide tech support - troubleshoot problems, coordinate repairs and software updates with vendor and install computerized maintenance software on local PCs. Plant IT program: oversee design, implementation, and maintenance for network file systems and servers for assigned plant IT functions. Fire alarm program: oversee design, implementation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Coordinate repair and testing with outside vendor. Emergency response program: participate in emergency response program for medical, fires, and chemical spills. Assist technicians in completion of actual work. Performs other duties as assigned.
