Tap into the professional possibilities of Enterprise Products Company. The Commercial Representative's primary function is to manage and oversee certain midstream assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participating in all aspects to effectively manage the business including: operations, commercial, financial, accounting, contractual, regulatory, budget and new business development.
Reading, interpreting, negotiating, and understanding contracts related to the business.
Negotiations with producer on contracts, issues and dispute resolution.
Troubleshooting and coordinating pre-emptive action to minimize disruption and defend company interests.
Prepare and assist with presentations to customers and management.
Monitoring and alerting management on a timely basis regarding daily production and operating issues affecting the performance of the assets.
Provide weekly and monthly gross operating margin estimates assets, and explaining variances to budgets.
Reviewing and reporting on monthly financial performance of assets including detailed explanations for assets financial performance.
Regularly communicating with producers and management regarding issues, updates and approvals.
Reviewing monthly accounting settlements, researching and resolving related issues.
Interacting with internal groups (such as A/R, A/P, engineering, operations and legal departments) and external parties (producers, operators, contractors) on contract and asset issues.
Responding to requests for information or resolution of issues with producers and management.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
Covid vaccine is required.
Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or business discipline or equivalent years of work experience is required.
Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years work experience in the energy industry performing commercial activities is required.
A minimum of 2 years work experience in a commercial role is preferred.
Adept in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred.
Requires ability to multitask and have a common sense approach to problem solving.
Ability to interact with customers is required.
Experience reading, interpreting, negotiating, and understanding contracts are required.
Experience working with operations and engineering to better understand issues is required.
Ability to be proactive in keeping up with the asset and responding/communication on issues is required.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment, multi-task in a fast pace environment, attention to detail and be able to grasp the big picture.
Strong personal initiative and effective time management are essential to develop knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities in an independent thorough manner.
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically is required.
