Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Health Senior Account Supervisor to lead client relationships, drive strategic communications initiatives, and oversee project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, the ability to develop and execute integrated communications plans, and expertise in account management. The ideal candidate has excellent leadership skills and is comfortable providing strategic counsel to both clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead communications strategy for pharmaceutical clients across the product lifecycle, from clinical development to commercialization.
    • Develop and execute PR campaigns aligned to key regulatory milestones, including regulatory filing/submissions, approvals, and advisory committee meetings.
    • Manage data communications, including planning for top-line readouts, congress presentations, press releases, and publication strategies, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
    • Interface with cross-functional client teams (regulatory, clinical, medical affairs, commercial) to align messaging and ensure timely dissemination of critical updates.
    • Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for growth, offering innovative solutions and strategic counsel.
    • Manage account budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and identifying opportunities for increased profitability.
    • Identify and contribute to new business opportunities, supporting proposals and pitches when needed.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance to help them grow professionally.
    • Provide strategic oversight on team deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with client expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of health communications experience (agency or in-house preferred).
    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory considerations, industry trends, and key stakeholders.
    • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide high-level counsel to clients.
    • Experience leading integrated communications campaigns across earned, owned, and paid channels.
    • Experience in digital, paid advertising and clinical trial recruitment strategies highly preferred.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects, teams, and budgets effectively.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, integrated agency environment while maintaining attention to detail.
    • The ideal candidate will demonstrate fluency in leveraging AI tools to enhance communication strategies, optimize content creation, and drive more personalized, data-informed engagement across channels.

$80,000 - $105,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
