Project Manager-Remote (Finance)
Taking guidance from the Director of Project Management, this person is responsible for managing both in-person & virtual events to ensure the proposed work plan & team efforts adhere to the established timeline(s), budget, and scope of work. Through proactively encouraging discussion and idea-sharing across multiple channels, the Project Manager will guide the team towards an event production which exceeds client expectations. This person will act as the main point of contact with the client & all show stakeholders, both external and internal Producers, Technical Directors, and Creative Services teams. The Project Manager owns the event and is responsible for seeing it through from start to successful completion.
The Project Manager at Precon will:
Schedule and manage all internal and client-facing meetingsDevelop and maintain the event timeline with key dates and milestones in the Precon project management softwareSchedule, coordinate, and manage all deliverables, milestones, and action items for internal team members, external partners, and clientsAssign and check task completion by team membersUnderstand all technical elements of an event, including but not limited to knowing what equipment is needed and effectively communicate with Audio Visual partner(s)Coordinate with Precon Creative Services departments for client orders of videography, scenic design and fabrication, motion graphics and video editing, voice-overs, printed and virtual collateral designServe as the client-team liaison throughout the production planning process and during the eventWork closely with the Producer to ensure team is following the event vision, meeting client needs, and staying within budgetCoordinate with Technical Director on technical aspects of the event including the creation of CAD drawings, AV equipment and service requirements, technical labor, vendor management, and client asset managementMaintain a Production Handbook, Timeline and workback schedules for each event
