Business Manager (Finance)
Position Summary
The Business Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of all financial elements of the organization, staff management and development, administrational support and services that contribute to achieving the business goals and the effective management of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage customer and vendor accountsReceive and process payments, make bank deposits as requiredGenerate reports to assure accuracy in billings customer billings for slip, storage, and service workReview system, account balances, revenue deferrals, and contract setupLead general office duties such as processing vendor invoices, answering phones, processing incoming mail, filing, data entry, and ordering office suppliesEnsure marina staff, especially customer service representatives, observe best practices when interfacing with customers, develop processes to ensure customer inquiries, and properly addressedEncourage team members to maximize their abilities and build a healthy company cultureProvide facility tours when requestedAssist in the interview and hiring process of new employees as neededProvide administrative assistant duties to the General Manager as neededAvailable to work overtime when required
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate or Bachelors Degree preferred2 years relevant experience preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to lift 20 pounds
