Production Reporting Associate - Government Services (Manufacturing)

High Level Responsibilities

The role of the reporting associate is to help support production for the disaster relief efforts for DR4485 COVID-19 by monitoring and tracking various data to proactively identify upcoming deadlines and current statuses.  The reports developed and executed will help to leverage information gathered to increase production efficiencies and help to keep Region Managers, Supervisors, Analysts and Leadership updated and aware of actions needed.  The reporting associate will also be involved in creating ideas for new reports while refining existing ones working directly with the Production Manager and the PowerBI Data Team.  Helping to determine quality control standards for data used and collaborating with the production team to develop improvements to processes will also be emphasized in this role.

 

Hard Skills Required

  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook
    • Excel: calculations, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, XLOOKUPS, INDEXING, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Ability to create pivot tables, reports, charts, and graphs using Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize clearly
  • Data cleaning/standardization
    • Removing or fixing incorrect data in a dataset. This data may be missing, consist of incorrect information, formatted incorrectly, or duplicated.
  • Solid presentation development skills including charts, graphs & data visualization
    • Able to develop visual presentation from various data sources and information systems to make connections between data to provide production statuses.
    • Create a graphical representation of data that makes it easy to understand using various tools like graphs and charts to represent trends and data.
  • Experience with Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, One Drive & Zoom

 

Hard Skills – Nice to Have (but not Required)

  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • Experience in grant management
  • Experience with Visio

    • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented
    • Strong attention to detail to be able to identify trends and patterns in groups of data. Even a small error in a section of data provide erroneous results, so solid attention to detail helps to ensure accuracy
  • Experience with process improvement
    • Help to identify issues and resolve by recommending improvement of processes and developing reports to monitor results
  • Collaborative with ability to influence and persuade
