Investments Sales Assistant (Finance)



Location: Sioux Falls, SD 
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

About the Role
Provide administrative support to customers, advisors, and management ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the department. This role contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction, optimizing advisor productivity, and maintaining a well-organized and responsive office environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers and staff both in person and over the phone.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and texts by providing information, taking messages, screening requests, or directing calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Make outbound calls to insurance and investment companies to obtain forms, research investment products, and gather information for advisors.
  • Assist advisors with processing and completing documents, including submission. Scanning and electronic filing.
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System for customers and prospects.
  • Manage the receipt, opening, sorting, and routing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound calls to schedule customer appointments.
  • Support advisors in organizing meetings, conferences, special events, and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Oversee inventory management and reorder supplies, forms, and materials as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous tasks while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to take initiative and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required and college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • South Dakota Insurance License or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable time period is required.
