EP MP Technician -Shipping Days (Healthcare)

What You'll Get to Do

The Shipping Tech is focused on supplying great quality material and reports to the Shipping Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys creating something from nothing .  A vital member of the shipping department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Generate load plans based on Epics schedule and create pick lists based Epics report.
• Coordinate shipment and delivery dates with trucking companies and customers.
• Scanning bar codes on all boxes associated with pick list, generate shipping documents.
• Verify the count of material placed on the trailer, making sure the physical count is the same as the book/document count.
• Conduct Post-Loading Checklist.
• Safely move trailers into and out of the dock using the Yard Dog Tractor and move scrap trailers as needed.

 

What We're Looking For

• Must be computer literate, knowledge of Epics for creating pick lists, shipping manifests, and truck worksheets.
• Must be knowledgeable or capable of learning the Fed-Ex software program.
• Must be able to work effectively in time restraints – priority list to complete load in time frame allocated.
• Must be able to maintain composure, handle change at a moment's notice, patience is required while multi-tasking
• Must be able to operate crane/hoist, Raymond, forklift and Yard Dog Tractor to move trailers in/out of the dock area.
