Sandblaster (Construction)

We have provided precast concrete structures and enclosure systems for a wide variety of projects including educational, government, multi-unit residential, retail, sports complexes/stadiums, and parking garages.
Concrete Patcher/Sandblaster will be responsible to learn how to perform routine rubbing/finishing of all concrete products after stripping from casting beds/forms ensuring proper color and texture of each piece. Patch concrete products as required and/or specified on remedial piece drawings. Located in Springboro, Ohio.
This is a 1st shift position, starting at 6:30AM, Monday- Friday.
Starting at $20.00 and can increase based on previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- Basic patching of inserts and chips from delivery of product and erection
- Acid wash and sandblast panels
- Mix grout and patching materials per mix design expectations
- Saw, grind, and drill pre-cast
- Skilled in blending and brickwork
Qualifications:
- Prior concrete or construction background
- Comfortable working outdoors the majority of the year - we do not slow down in the winter
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, a plus
- Ability to work 40 plus feet out of a lift or sling stage, required
- Ability to pass an OSHA physical
