Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineering Technician located in Northfield, MN.

Reporting to the Quality Engineer, the WD174287 Quality Engineering Technician  is responsible for  performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts, out of box audit (OBA) and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Assists Quality Engineers with measurement analysis of Production Launch runs.
  • Perform tests per customer specifications and requirements.
  • Collecting data, analyzing results and implementing procedures.
  • Perform Quality audits (product, process, systems) per Quality requirements.
  • Participate in and coordinate Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
  • Assist with failure analysis of customer returned samples.
  • Learn & Perform CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine) studies.
  • Apply basic statistical analysis techniques for product characterization.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • 1-6 years of related experience.
  • Safety first.
  • General lamination or flexible circuit fabrication processes.
  • Proficient in most common PC-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and the like).
  • Strong interpersonal communication.
  • Providing feedback diplomatically yet effectively.
  • Self-motivating, self-starter.
  • Trouble shooting / problem solving.
  • Highly skilled with ability to move between projects.
  • Quality systems e.g. IATF / ISO (Preferred)
