At Crestron you will have the opportunity to perform Acoustics design modeling and simulation of audio products such as Smart Speakers, Soundbars, and other audio systems.
Responsibilities
Design and test acoustic solution for Collaboration devices used in conference rooms
Speaker enclosure design
Microphone acoustic design incorporated into products
Work in collaboration with ME, HW, Algorithm, DSP, Product management teams to achieve optimized solution
Build prototypes to evaluate performance and testing
Develop Mechanical Design solution using CAD and other analytical tools
Mechanical Design, Verify and Validate for high quality audio products for mass production.
Perform tolerance analysis to ensure proper fit and function
Participate in competitive product analysis and benchmarking
Research and evaluate new technologies related to Unified Communication systems
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering / Acoustic Engineering
Minimum 4 years of working experience focused in acoustic engineering
Prior experience in enclosure design for an acoustic system is a plus
Experience in designing injection molded, Diecast, sheet metal parts for mass production
3D CAD experience (Creo preferred) required.
Knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, DFX to develop robust design
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
