Bakehouse Accounting Assistant (Finance)
What does the job pay?
$16-$18 per hour
What are the requirements and skills needed for this job?
Availability:
4-5 hours shifts between the hours of 9am-5pmHoliday availabilityFull availability end of October, November and December (we dont take any extra time off during these months)
Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:
Manages accounts receivable
Contacts delinquent customers to collect paymentsProcesses and manages credit card payments and informationCoordinates new customer credit accountsSends statements to customers
Prior experience in bookkeeping / the use of accounting software would be idealDaily, weekly, and monthly data entry for accountingProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google AppsCreate, maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for office related workPerform other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, collating and scanning documentsDeliver the Zingerman's Experience to all guests, including following the 5 Steps to Handling a Customer ComplaintComplete Zingerman's training within time frameIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyHandle sensitive information in a confidential mannerProvide other support as needed. We operate as a team and often help out in other departments.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25 pounds (record retention boxes)Able to work at a desk, standing or sitting for long periods of time
