Regional Assets Administrator (Project Management)



Reporting to the Director GSE – Americas, the Menzies Aviation Regional Asset Administrator role is responsible for the procurement, transfer and disposal of all fleet, Cargo, Ground Support and Fueling assets for the Americas Region, ensuring all new and used assets purchased or leased are compliant with all Menzies Aviation, IATA, Airline, Federal, State and local standards.  This position will work closely with the senior management team, Accounting, Finance and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the procurement, transfer and disposal of all fleet, Cargo, Ground Support and Fueling assets for America's region.
  • Ensures new and used assets for purchase or lease are compliant with all Menzies Aviation, IATA, Airline, Federal, State and local standards.
  • Collaborate with finance on the initialization, transfer, and termination of leased assets.
  • Responsible to develop a standardized Equipment Request process and workflow with routine status reports.
  • Supports the development of CIPs and bid packages in regard to equipment and manpower requirements and associated costs.
  • Collaborates with the RISK team to ensure purchased assets, as well as their repair and maintenance are in compliance with Menzies Aviation RISK policies.
  • Understands and complies with Menzies Aviation GSE manual.
  • Understands and complies with Menzies Aviation Health and Safety manual.
  • Coordinates inter-company asset transfers with local teams and corporate GSE team.
  • Oversight of EBis fleet maintenance and asset tracking software to confirm:
    • All assets in the Americas are accounted for.
    • Assets are allocated to the proper stations.
    • Preventative maintenance of assets is tracked, and compliance is reported to Director of GSE.
    • Parts inventories are routinely reconciled.
    • Parts and labor are accurately allocated against jobs/work orders and repair/maintenance is properly coded for tracking/trending purposes.
    • Track and organize the transfer of assets between stations, regions, and countries.
  • Negotiate with logistics providers on shipping of new assets and owned assets between stations.
  • Collaborate with finance department to ensure EBis physical inventory and Fixed Asset Register correlate.
  • Track asset disposals and negotiate pricing for resale of assets.
  • Track titles and registration of Menzies Aviation fleet of road going vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years' experience in related field
  • Fluent with Excel and other Microsoft applications including Power-Bi., Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds.

Exposure to outdoor environments, various inclement weather conditions, aviation related fumes and various noise levels. Acutely aware of safety related procedures. Position requires wearing safety related equipment, i.e., goggles, gloves, boots, respirator, hearing protection, and back support as necessitated by a specific task. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing, rotating, twisting, climbing of high tanks, squatting, kneeling, overhead arm movement. Must be able to occasionally handle weights up to and including 70 lbs. Exposure to related cleaning and chemical materials (review MSDS Reference Book) during routine and special cleaning assignments. This category as stated, is not exclusive.
