Acts as a technical sales representative of McNaughton-McKay to promote growth of technical and contractual sales to achieve growth goals for Services & Solutions (SaS) set forth by the company. This individual will take part in traditional customer account specialist functions with a focus on growing contractual services, as well as, SaS sales initiatives. On-site customer service will be required as part of this job function in order to grow the services and solutions business.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Applies knowledge of customers' business and McNaughton-McKay's offerings to achieve best-in-class customer service and exceptional customer business outcomes.
2.Expands traditional quotes into more customer spend through business conversations with the customer.
3.Assists in developing and executing the SaS strategic business plan to achieve target KPIs.
oSupports the Rockwell annual recurring revenue (ARR) business.
oFacilitates the sale of Rockwell software and toolkits.
4.Monitors and assists callers from strategic customers focused on sales growth by applying knowledge of the SaS offering.
5.Provides customers a single source of contact for customer needs.
6.Maintains communication channels between Sales and Engineering to promote growth opportunities for the assigned initiatives.
7.Coordinates efforts between the customer, sales team, and SaS team to ensure successful customer business outcomes.
8.Participates, and in some cases, leads the development of necessary sales collateral to promote the SaS offering.
9.Provides customers with basic application assistance, guidance or troubleshooting.
10.Maintains a high level of fluency for the complete McNaughton-McKay offering.
11.Works directly with outside vendors to facilitate business KPIs.
12.Acts as a liaison between the vendor and the customer to expedite a resolution for the customer.
13.Supports SaS related business initiatives set forth by the company.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of work experience considered in lieu of education.
2.Thorough knowledge of the assigned services and solutions offering, as well as, broad McNaughton-McKay product offering.
3.Possesses strong market and customer knowledge.
4.Proven analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
5.Ability to create and maintain positive customer relationships.
