Registered Nurse - Medsurg, Full Time Nights - 12-Hour Shifts

We need more nurses like you! MVHS is looking to add more nurses to our Medsurg units that have a strong passion for caring for patients who are recovering from surgery, and a variety of internal medicine/telemetry patients. Together, we are better!

Core Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
• Administer patients' medicines and treatments
• Set up plans for patients' care or contribute information to existing plans
• Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals

Education/Experience Requirements

Required: Graduate with an accredited associate degree. 1 year of RN experience is required. New Grads may be considered for select units.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Telemetry experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Required: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification

Salary – 32.50-47.00
