Service Manager (Project Management)
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise the Service Technician staff.Familiarize personnel regarding warranty procedures. Maintain a work schedule for assigned territory.Assist staff in responding to customer questions.Collect all purchase orders from builders representatives and follow upwith accounting.Ensure that the appropriate procedures are in place for after hour emergencies.Monitor completion and quality of service items.Generate daily reports on completion of warranty & billable items and report to commercial and residential departments.Produce procedures manual for routine, emergency, and warranty items.Retain warranty and/or additional service documentation.Provide training, performance reviews for staff.Identify recurring warranty issues with construction and trades personnel.Acquaint builder representatives with company policies and procedures.Maintain current roofing reference materials.Assist service coordinators in maintaining department organizational flow.Instruct and train service technicians on performing upselling for other work that might need to be completed on a property.
