Roadhouse Dishwasher/Cleaner (Food Services)
Zingerman's Roadhouse is hiring a Full Time dishwasher/cleaners - AM & PM shifts
This is a vital role in our restaurant and a great position for someone looking to be a part of a team in a fast paced restaurant environment! This is a great way to get started in a kitchen - even Ari's first job was a dishwasher!
Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, but there may be additional hours available based on business need. AM shifts available - 5am - 1pm. PM shifts available - 2pm - 12am/1:30am
Weekends and Holidays Required.
Compensation: $15-$16/hour, depending on experience
Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:
Arrives on time for all scheduled shifts, meetings, and classes.Efficiently washes plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans utilizing automatic dishwasher and 3 compartment sinkProperly unloads, sorts, and stores clean dishesSweeps, scrubs and mops floorsCleans floor mats, drains, walls, shelves, windows and restroomsCleans and sanitizes foodservice equipmentSorts and removes trash, recycling, and compostables to designated pickup areas outside of the buildingStock and replenish cleaning supplies and chemicalsDemonstrates proper usage and storage of cleaning chemicals and suppliesFollows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures as well as Zingerman's safety guidelinesFollows and upholds all of Zingerman's Roadhouse standards.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Assist in kitchen prep as directedPerforms other tasks as directed by leadership

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move and position self around the kitchen, the basement and on the dining floor during the shiftBending, stooping, and being positioned upright for long periods at a timeMust be able to safely relocate up to 65 lbs.Must be able to ascend and descend between basement and dining floor.
