Spec Technical Support ERP (Information Technology)

Wednesday - Saturday 9:30am - 8:30pm CT

Summary
Medline is seeking a proactive and analytical professional to support and optimize logistics system operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for process improvement, and hands-on experience with logistics or warehouse management systems.

Job Description

Major Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for escalated technical issues, applying strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
  • Provide high-quality customer support to internal users, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Investigate and resolve application issues; develop and document technical solutions and workarounds.
  • Monitor ticket queues and system alerts; document issues and take timely action as needed.
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and ensure thorough follow-up.
  • Support user account management for logistics systems, including creation, updates, and deactivation.
  • Participate in bridge calls for high-impact incidents; assist with diagnosis and share relevant updates with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and process improvements.
  • Provide feedback from ticket resolutions to improve knowledgebase articles and SOP documentation.
  • Create and maintain workaround procedures when standard processes fail, minimizing operational disruption.
  • Assist build teams by relaying support insights and contributing to requirement discussions when applicable.
  • Support project tasks and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Develop working knowledge of logistics systems and processes to enhance troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Document recurring issues and contribute to sustainable, long-term solutions.
  • Ensure SLA adherence by resolving issues efficiently and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of team and business goals.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • 3–5 years in logistics systems or IT support, with strong familiarity with application and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

  • Experience supporting logistics or warehouse management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms.
  • Familiarity with documentation and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Ivanti ITSM).
  • Experience working with Unix-based systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of handling pressure and prioritizing tasks in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in solving complex problems.
  • Ability to interpret data via spreadsheets and bar graphs.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$73,840.00 - $107,120.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
