In addition, our Professional Engineering Group, Rotating Machinery Division, Renewable Energy Services, and Field Repair and local Repair Service Centers, places Shermco in a position to handle all things electrical. All done with an emphasis on safety and client service.

Shermco Industries, Inc. Sales and Marketing team is seeking an entrepreneurial minded, results oriented Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help shape our growing Southeast Region. The Inside Sales Representative will report into the Sales Operations & Marketing division of Shermco. An ISR conducts internal and external analysis of sales data, assists with email marketing campaigns to generate leads for the region, monitors and upholds data integrity across the sales region, and has a significant responsibility to serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Director. The position is mostly a remote position with some travel. It is preferred the ISR is located in Denver, Phoenix or Auburn, WA.You can work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute and analyze qualitative and quantitative data about customers, competitors, industry
  • Research and analyze regional and branch target accounts for updates to projects, contacts, and plants/facilities
  • Generate leads for Territory Account Managers within the region through drip marketing campaigns and project leads
  • Leverage data to identify key customer insights
  • Provide on-going analysis, trends and ad hoc analysis for regional sales team
  • Prepare written reports and presentations to management to ensure clear understanding of information and implications
  • Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings, sales meetings and any other functions which would foster greater of team challenges and goals
  • Acts as a secondary point of contact to customers
  • Communicate and present critical data, report summaries, market analysis and strategic recommendations to all levels of management

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Efficient and effective working style as deadlines drive many timelines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Innovative and inquisitive to learn new things and explore new ideas
  • Experience in market research, financial planning and analysis, engineering or sales
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • High business acumen
  • Ability to interface with business development and senior management

Qualifications:

  • A recent bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business or other related fields preferred with any experience in a sales or sales support or customer service role involving client contact. We will consider 2 years of inside sales experience or relevant experience in a finance, engineering, sales, marketing intelligence or strategy role in lieu of a degree
  • Must have strong experience with lead generation and outbound calls
  • Must have Excel. High consideration will be given to advanced Excel skills (i.e., pivot tables, power queries, etc.). Also, Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including but not limited to, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Salesforce highly desirable and Zoom or IIR
  • Proven track record in analysis and insight
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Professional writing experience desirable

Other Requirements:
