Billing Analyst (Administrative)



Position Overview:

 As a Billing Analyst, you will ensure that service work orders are billed according to the contract terms and customer requirements. You will be responsible for auditing your own work to ensure that all costs are accounted for and billed appropriately. Compensation: Starting at $22/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Location: 7651 Esters Blvd, Suite 200, Irving, TX

Essential Functions:

  • Provide timely responses to all customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service under all circumstances.
  • Manage all processes and procedures to ensure that they are fully documented and illustrated for audit and training purposes.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to field personnel on billing related inquiries and procedures.
  • Prepare MS Excel-based, PDF and electronic upload specialized invoices for an assigned portfolio of National Account customers and perform a cursory review of the invoices to ensure that the amount and time period billed is accurate.
  • Maintaining and restructuring National Account billing accounts as needed to meet customer expectations, including but not limited to, combining and separating invoices, changing billing cycles / frequency, rate reductions / standardization, address updates, etc.
  • Run and review RM reports at month-end on all account customer portfolio to proactively identify and correct any billing issues prior to the monthly bill run.
  • Evaluate requests received for specialized billing and determine the most efficient means of execution and the related resources necessary to accommodate the request.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.

Education and Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ plus year of billing experience.

Working Environment:

  • There are no special physical requirements for this position.

  • Periods of sitting
