About Us:
Volunteers of America Southwest is looking for a dynamic person to help create change in our communities through our Comprehensive Opioid Recovery Center (CORC). The CORC program is a unique program designed to assist individuals in dealing with opioid addiction. The CORC program is a multifaceted program that provides services that match our client's level of need. The program is fluid and dynamic in providing services that include inpatient and outpatient treatment, case management, supportive services, benefit enrollment assistance and supportive housing services. OurPeer Support Specialistwill help us in developing our program and services and to provide meaningful services. Monday - Friday shifts.
Job Opportunity:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, the Peer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing client-centered care to those with substance disorders or with co-occurring substances and psychiatric disorders and various other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
