Area Vice President of Sales Home Health and Hospice (Project Management)



A growing and mission-driven home health organization is seeking a dynamic Area Vice President of Sales, Home Health and Hospice to drive strategic growth across a defined multi-site region. This role will provide salesleadership, mentorship, and coaching to asalesteam to exceed census, admission, and referral goals while fostering strong provider relationships and community partnerships.

This is a search for a high-impactleader who thrives in a results-driven environment, is passionate about home health and hospice, and understands the delicate balance of patient-centered care and competitive business development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a regionalsalesteam focused on referral generation and market penetration.
Drive performance against monthly and quarterly targets including admissions, referrals, and conversion rates.
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with hospitals, physicians, SNFs, ALFs, and other community referral sources.
Partner with branch and clinicalleadership to ensure alignment betweensalesefforts and service delivery capabilities.
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Implement standardizedsalesprocesses and ensure CRM documentation is timely and accurate.
Support onboarding and continued training of new liaisons/salesstaff.
Regularly evaluate team performance, providing feedback, recognition, and corrective action when needed.
Represent the organization at regional industry events and networking functions.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of healthcaresalesexperience, with at least 2 years in aleadership or multi-site management role.
Proven track record ofsalesteam success in home health, hospice, or a closely related field.
Deep understanding of Medicare home health regulations and referral dynamics.
Bachelors degree required; clinical or healthcare background preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and coaching skills.
High integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
