Role and Responsibilities
Emerson GeoFields, a leading provider of software and services for the oil and gas pipeline industry is looking for an experienced project engineer. This position will replace the open position, due to a recent staff member's resignation. The Project Engineer will be responsible providing integrity management and risk consulting services to oil and gas pipeline operators. Responsibilities will include designing, documenting, and executing risk models and consulting on pipeline integrity projects. The Project Engineer will work close with Product Managers to ensure that products supporting pipeline integrity meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. The Project Engineer will assist in the implementation and on-going support of clients using the GeoFields RiskFrame Modeler product. This support will include consulting and advising on changes to risk models, risk analysis, and changes required to meet regulatory changes. This position will require someone with extensive data management and data analysis capabilities. The Project Engineer will be expected to understand basic data structures and be able to perform queries on various types of databases. The Project Engineer will stay current with industry standards and changes to regulations that could impact GeoFields products. This position will play a key role in advising the product team as new pipeline integrity products are designed and created. This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management.

Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
Experience with GIS and SQL.
This position will require working with data, familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle databases is required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENT:
Pipeline experience.
