Victory Preparatory Academy is searching for an enthusiastic computer science teacher to promote computer literacy among our students. In this position, you will be required to instruct students on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation and the hardware and the software built on those foundations, craft and present lessons, develop teaching material, teach how to write computer programs and algorithms. Keep records of grades, grade papers, attend parent-teacher conferences, and also ensure that equipment remains in excellent working condition, through communication with administration.
To ensure success as a computer science teacher, you should demonstrate flexibility and support as you help students to develop confidence in their computer skills. An outstanding computer science teacher will be cognizant of the socioeconomic factors that limit access to technology, and will make a concerted effort to acclimatize students with no prior exposure to computers.
