Occupational Therapist (FT - Days) (Finance)

Responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop plan of care for patients/residents establishing goals of treatment and plan for discharge; taking into consideration the patients needs and limitations. Extent of skill and care demonstrated in the treatment and management of patients/residents.Treats patients disorders following prescribed methods that are in the department manuals on referral of a licensed physician.Consults with attending physician concerning the patients needs and limitations, goals, plan of care, progress, and discharge plans.Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Techs, etc.).Provide written home care programs for patients to follow discharge.Timely completion of documentation in medical charts. Includes response to treatment and objective measurements. Maintains current knowledge of all aspects of Rehabilitation treatment strategies. Seeks to improve skills through in-services, seminars, educational meetings, education.Is flexible with worked hours to meet department and facility needs. Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
