If you are a Manufacturing & Operations professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Rushville, IN location, you will supervise and direct 25-40 employees in an ISO9000 manufacturing environment to meet or exceed goals for safety, production, and quality. You will encourage and facilitate continuous improvements, positive employee relations, and a strong 6S program.
AS A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:
Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
Instruct, train, orient, and coach employees to achieve safety, production and quality objectives.
Consistently and fairly administer and support company policies and procedures.
Maintain and promote a culture of continuous improvement, 6S, and lean manufacturing
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a person that leads an effective team by establishing common objectives and a shared mindset. You follow through on your commitments and are seen as being direct and truthful. You continuously work to make improvements and solve issues for the benefit of the company and the customers, both internal and external.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Two (2) year associate degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement and coaching
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with all levels of the organization
Strong planning, organization, problem solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Four (4) year bachelor's degree.
One to three (1-3) years or more of experience in manufacturing with similar responsibilities

About our Location
Rushville, IN: The 2-building campus offers a safe and clean work environment with a “family” atmosphere. The Rushville facilities are part of the Emerson Commercial Residential Solutions Division. We manufacture new semi-hermetic compressors and take the worn-out, failed compressors out of the field and remanufacture them to like new status, as well as manufacture crank shafts. Approximately 200 employees work in Rushville and are an integral part of our organization. A 2-building campus allows for learning and growth opportunities for all our team.
