Deliver business solutions that enable global and local business teams. Execute transparent IT processes for full solution lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement in solution performance, reliability, compliance, and efficiency. Proactively drive solution usage and simplification with business partners. Strategically develop and execute solution roadmap that aligns to business strategy and measurably drives business KPIs. Consistently grow expertise in business processes and enabling technologies. Manage internal and external resources in order to get fulfill these goals
How you will do it
Role Responsibilities:
Application Strategy: define and maintain the Supply Chain application strategy for JCI in the areas of Transportation Management Systems, Trade Compliance Systems and Warehouse Management Systems, in alignment to the Business Strategy
Implementation Roadmap: creation and maintenance of Supply Chain implementation roadmaps in those same areas (TMS, Trade Compliance and WMS) maximizing company benefits.
Project Proposals: responsible for the generation of end-to-end solution proposals recommendations to business requirements, including the proposed solution architecture, estimated cost, time, internal effort as well as implementation risks, including partner recommendations.
Project Delivery: responsible for the end-to-end implementation of such projects, including solution design, development, testing, deployment and post go live support and transition to IT Operations, fulfilling all business requirements on time, budget and quality.
Enhancement Management: accountable for the delivery of small Enhancements within the Supply Chain applications in scope.
Continuous Improvement: coach, establish and influences the usage of technical best practices across the operations organization. Coordinates and ensures data governance methodologies are adhered to within our environment.
Role Scope:
Global Architecture: solution standards set for Transportation Management Systems, Trade Compliance Systems and Warehouse Management Systems for all implementations globally
Americas Delivery: generation of Proposals and execution of Projects, for the Americas region
Global Delivery: generation of Proposals and execution of Projects that in their scope they have operations from multiple regions.
Organization Interaction:
Manage team of Delivery Leads and Solution Architects in the Logistics and Distribution platforms that are part of his/her scope, that is Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems and Trade Compliance Systems. Manages relationships with main software and consulting companies supporting JCI project and enhancement objectives.
Support IT Business Partners and user community in the definition of implementation roadmaps, in opportunity definition, business case build and in the elicitation and validation of business requirements
Collaborate with ERP and Enterprise Integration teams in defining and delivering end-to-end solutions, including system integrations
Work with the ePMO organization in building project plans and in project coordination for application delivery activities
Interact with Application Support leaders on defining support solution designs as well as with the transition to the Managed Services team responsible for day-to-day support
Collaborate with Global Infrastructure and Global Security teams in defining and delivering solutions

This position will focus on Supply Chain processes, including but not limited to Transportation Management, Trade Compliance, Warehouse Management Systems.

What we look for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
10+years of IT experience working in functional/business process roles
Preferred 7+ years of IT work experience implementing and integrating enterprise applications for supply chain business processes (preferably in applications recognized/well-known in the market), in one or more of the following application types: Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Trade Compliance
Experience in managing consulting vendors for the purpose of project delivery work
Experience in End-to-end solution architecture and implementation across multiple platforms (ERP, Middleware, Supply Chain apps)
Experience in implementing SaaS Solutions
Deep business process knowledge in logistics and distribution.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, and influence, as well as relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties.
Advanced user of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Access, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word) and SQL.
Proven experience working on large scale supply chain transformation initiatives
Nice to have: experience in the following application types: ERP, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Execution, Supplier Collaboration Systems
This position may require up to 5% domestic and/or international travel
