The Division of Geriatric Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Clinical Coordinator Exercise Physiologist. The Clinical Coordinator Exercise Physiologist is responsible for study coordination including: recruitment, site enrollment, process strategies, oversight of regulatory documents and submissions, visit scheduling, performing exercise testing, and independent physical activity intervention as part multiple research projects including a multi-center study of cardiac rehabilitation. This person is responsible for individualized physical activity and health education programs and testing assessments for research volunteers as well as clinical patients taking part in cardiac rehab. This person is also responsible for communication with other staff, investigators, and clinical providers across departments and across other institutions in order to ensure good quality control for testing procedures.PhD preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Must be CPR and ACLS certified (within 6-months)
