The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As our Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the voice of Solventum internally. You'll collaborate with the Communications & Brand team and functions across the organization to develop communication strategies that build an informed, engaged and connected workplace. Your contributions will help employees not only stay informed but feel inspired by the impactful work we do at Solventum.

As a Communications Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead the internal newsletter strategy by overseeing the planning, creation and execution of newsletters that inform, engage and motivate employees, leaders and supervisors
  • Drive editorial strategy and manage the content calendar to align with Solventum's goals and priorities
  • Own the internal communications channel strategy across email, intranet, digital signage and Viva Engage
  • Partner with the team to evolve leader and manager communications through toolkits, templates and guidance
  • Develop clear, concise and inspiring content that reflects Solventum's values and builds community
  • Create communications that promote engagement, inclusion and a strong organizational culture
  • Manage the internal communications metrics dashboard to track performance and guide improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, business units and transformation teams to ensure alignment and impact

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or higher AND two (2) years of experience in communications, marketing or related field in a public, private or military environment.

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) years of experience in communications, marketing or related field in a public, private or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience managing multi-channel communications, including intranet, newsletters and digital signage.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to craft clear, engaging and inspiring content tailored to a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in planning and executing editorial strategies that align with company priorities and goals.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other communication systems to build and distribute content.
  • Experience using AI to help craft messaging and plans.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $82,370 - $100,675, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
